JURY FINDS STEVEN C. BULL GUILTY

OZARK, MO –The Christian County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office announced today that STEVEN C. BULL dob: 11/28/1957 of Billings, MO was found guilty by a Christian County jury of failure of a sex offender to report. A jury trial was held before the Honorable Senior Judge William Roberts on February 9, 2015.

The jury deliberated approximately one (1) hour before reaching its verdict. The defendant was convicted of a failing to report as a sex offender between September 12, 2014 and September 18, 2014. The defendant is a prior offender and required to register because he pleaded guilty to Aggravated Incest in the Eighteenth Judicial District Court of Sedgwick County, Kansas in March 1990.

Formal sentencing is scheduled before the Honorable Senior Judge William Roberts on March 5, 2015.

The range of punishment is a term of incarceration not to exceed seven (7) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, a special term of one (1) day to one (1) year in the Christian County Jail and/or a fine up to $5,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys Anna Bunch (first chair) and Donovan Dobbs (second chair). The case was investigated by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department.
